MOUNTAIN BOY RETURNS WITH ‘LET IT LIE’
Mountain Boy returns with his next offering ‘Let It Lie’, another track full of soul, story and spirit. Written, produced and mixed by himself, it’s not often you only see one name on the credit list, as he continues to showcase his talent as a creator.
Explaining the origins of the track, the artist states “‘Let It Lie’ is one of those songs that was lyrically pieced together from 3 or 4 different themes, with strong feelings of gratitude and letting go. The thread that ties them all together, I think, is the movement from the ‘self’ to the ‘other’, or from ‘I’ to ‘us’.”
The Waikato based artist has worked closely with Paris Baillie to create the stunning visual that is the ‘Let It Lie’ lyric video, as well as the artwork for the track.
Having recently taken time to meticulously curate his next chapter, Mountain Boy is ready to share what he’s been working on, with more to come in 2023.
‘Let It Lie’ is out Friday, 17th March on all streaming platforms.
